Whenever I get the opportunity to meet and work with other photographers, I jump at it quickly. I’m so for “community over competition.” Recently, three of us photographers met up with a model for a studio and city photo session that was slightly styled. It was so much fun! I especially enjoyed it as it took place in the city that I live in and I had not shot here before, crazy I know. I’ve lived here for almost 4 years now.
So, today I’m sharing some of the images that I haven’t shared over social media, I can’t wait for the opportunity to shoot throughout Oregon City again, possible senior sessions? I can hope!
Studio + City Session
We started out with our model wearing this gorgeous dress, it had so many details that I loved.
When you find a gorgeous backdrop and some angel wings, use them. I thought, “why not?”
We left the studio and headed out to the streets to find cool areas to shoot at. And found this old ford truck 😬
We thought this street wall was unique. Winning!
When we came upon this wall, I was floored. It’s the perfect color, and the lighting was amazing!
So much love for city photography!
I couldn’t have asked for a more fun way to spend the afternoon, creating, and adventuring throughout my very own city! Don’t you just love stumbling upon things right under your nose that you never noticed before?
Big thanks to DRB Photography for hosting us and providing so much insight!
My hope is to get some new senior sessions done in this urban setting! Who knows some class of 2019 seniors? Send them my way!
