Over three days, thousands of visitors from across the UK and Europe gathered at the Harrogate Convention Centre. The Measure Square exhibitor stand quickly became a hub of activity, drawing retailers, contractors, fitters, and manufacturers eager to see how our solutions drive accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

For many attendees, it was their first look at just how far digital takeoff and estimating tools have come. With the UK market for measurement software still catching up, the chance to see Measure Square in action proved especially valuable.

A highlight of the show was the introduction of MeasureSquare CRM—a flooring-specific CRM designed to streamline sales, quoting, and customer management in one platform. Attendees were excited to see how seamlessly it integrates with estimating workflows, helping teams close more business while staying organized. The Measure Square team also debuted its first integration with a UK-based ERP, Carman by Computers for Flooring. The integration with Carman makes it easier than ever for retailers specializing in flooring to connect their data, eliminate double entry, and keep workflows moving: from initial quote to final installation.

The event wasn’t just a success in terms of new business opportunities; it also reinforced MeasureSquare UK’s growing role as a trusted technology partner in the flooring industry.

Over the years, the Fuse Alliance has been a key source of growth for our commercial software platform. For example, at this year’s award dinner, every single project winner – except one – was a customer of Measure Square.

“Every existing customer who came up to our booth I talked to said they loved Measure Square 8 and how much it helped their business grow,” said Ryan Hiroto, who is an account executive with Measure Square. “We also talked to a variety of potential customers who are looking to switch to us. They said that their current software does not have real support and there is not much innovation.”

There was also lots of buzz about our new product, called JobTrakr. This is a sophisticated job site management system. And yes, it connects seamlessly with MeasureSquare data – which helps to accelerate processes, improve accuracy and lower costs.

Here are just some of the features of the software:

• Load project plans, takeoff estimate data, and room drawings in 2D/3D
• Allow for quick site data entry and task assignment
• Generate daily site production reports, punch lists, and labor billing reports
• Markup your plans with photos

Collaboration is also a key function. Through a cloud portal, field reps and office workers can communicate with each other so as to make sure that projects are on track.

The good news is that this year’s show was standout. We got lots of traction at our booth.

But there were some other things that were important. For example, there were a variety of employees of Measure Square that met for the first time. As our company has grown, we have taken on more remote team members.

Something else about Surfaces: We got a chance to talk to many of our customers. It was common for them to say, “We love the software.”

Then again, we have a top-notch development team. We also listen to customer feedback. In fact, at the Surfaces show, we got lots of cool ideas for future products. Stay tuned!

Finally, the Surfaces shows is a clear sign of the vitality, growth and strength of the flooring industry. The ecosystem is large and evolving.

And yes, there is increasing adoption of technologies. Whether large enterprises or sole proprietorships, business people understand that innovation is something that must be a high priority.

We have exciting updates. First of all, we have a couple new products that we’ve launched:

• RenoPlan: This is a measure and estimating mobile app for contractors, flippers, property managers, installers, office managers, DIYers, and many other businesses. Just some of the features include AR and LiDAR measurements, photo markups, integration with laser meters, plan takeoffs, branded reports and collaboration. There is also the ability to create 2D/3D plans – with just one click.
• JobTrakr: This includes a mobile app and cloud portal for jobsite management. You can easily assign tasks, generate daily site production reports, create punch lists, and markup photos of the site. A great benefit is that you can leverage your existing Measure Square data. This makes it much easier to get started. All in all, you’ll be able to reduce material and labor costs as well as avoid scheduling over-runs.
